Thanks Ivy. It was an oversite not to have flyers from church to put in each goodie bag especially in this day and age where parents are hopefully going through the candy before the kiddo gets to eat any.

I do not think it has the appearance of evil.I do believe that in any situation where you are reaching out to the community you should be most certainly concerned with your neighbor's soul salvation. You should feel the urgency to want your neighbor to know Christ and the freedom and life found in Him. So every community effort should have an evangelistic purpose.

I think it's a good idea. I don't think any members of Denbigh were guilty of having the appearance of evil so I think it's a fun time and an oppportunity to outreach to the community. I do think we should perhaps do a better job of outreach such as handing out invitations to worhsip with us along with candy.
