GO FOR IT. I really find myself limiting the use of my resources; time, effort, money etc. and I don’t believe it is wrong for any one to take in that kind of information if you and your’s are ok with that. Personally I am don’t want to pay for it’s elimination or destruction (as it could be an educational thing) yet I do not foresee myself supporting it with my time or effort. ‘I will not be paying for it’ and would not encourage it’s production. I did not know it was banninated or vetoed or anything formal. I wanted to see it soooo bad when I first saw the commercial. Some people are just too up tight to get over the fact that its not going to influence anyone strong in the faith. With the background information floating around, no one would see it with nieve eyes. I agree that financially we have a Christian responsibility. But then, if enough people choose not to see The Golden Compass in its original release, then they won't make movies of the other two books, both of which are much more anti-religion. I'm with Clifford. I'll save up for March 16 and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Having read some of the works of C.S. Lewis when I was young and some of his writings recently that I am older I really don’t want to support those either. If it ever comes on the TV, I might watch it, but It just doesn't seem like something I'd like, even though I like fiction/fantasy type movies. Unfortunately, it probably is the attention the movie is getting that makes it more sinister than it would be had it not been so flaunted.
