The cool people sit quietly and discuss things in a calm rational voice, no screaming, manipulating, harassing, or anything other juvenile behavior! Just kiddin'.
I am glad you had fun, even in the cold weather and even in the "not big green pickle" van. I hope you make plans to go again next year.Rogerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10271767676528553337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30798827.post-55594075694947633602007-02-22T19:26:00.000-05:002007-02-22T19:26:00.000-05:00yay for Winterfest! It was so much fun this year. ...yay for Winterfest! It was so much fun this year. I only got to experiance the bus from the 2006 (I didn't get to go before...)But this year was definately fun! I loved 321 improv! They were so funny. I hope that they are there again. It snowed again on Saturday (it snowed last year, too). It was pretty but cold. Brrr....so that was one way to make me look forward to standing in line close to people for a while.
For anyone who was in the COOl van (the one I was in) got to experiance the many question quiz by Tommy. Some questions were, "If youcould go anywhere, where would you go?" "If you could meet anyone from the bible and from 'everything else' (past or present), who would it be?" Stuff like that. And, on the way home, we played "I'm going to Newport News and I'm taking..." and named something, starting with each letter of the alphebet. The people in the other van weren't cool enough to play that (including Roger). They missed out. I will miss the trip always and forever. Well, until next year when we get to go again, but...almost16http://www.blogger.com/profile/12912919380190600082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30798827.post-61020141338995606722007-02-22T14:41:00.000-05:002007-02-22T14:41:00.000-05:00Yeah, it would have been cool to go, but I didn't ...Yeah, it would have been cool to go, but I didn't think about it until it was too late. God willing, maybe I can make it next year! :DRebelOfSocietyhttp://www.xanga.com/RebelOfSocietynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30798827.post-15292437444359567342007-02-22T07:37:00.000-05:002007-02-22T07:37:00.000-05:00Ah, the lost bag incident. Maybe you will be able to tell your grandkids some of your youthful memories with the Teens4Him youth group.
We had a great time this year but missed you going on the trip with us.Rogerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10271767676528553337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30798827.post-2427447620810695522007-02-21T21:06:00.000-05:002007-02-21T21:06:00.000-05:00I remember Winterfest very distinctly. I still enjoyed it, though; I mean, I gave my life over to Christ that weekend! :D
In 2004, we had more kids go. That was when all the guys were in one vehicle and all the girls were in another. They didn't mean to split us up like that, but it just happened that way.
Probably the thing from 2005 that everyone remembers was the lost bag incident, but I don't need to remind anyone of that. ;)
In 2006, we took a bus! As far as I know, that's a first! That was a fun time, especially how some of those kids got serious enjoyment from the pictures on my iPod. If you know me and what I was into back then, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. ;)RebelOfSocietyhttp://www.xanga.com/RebelOfSocietynoreply@blogger.com
